Lignum Lucentum

Every single tree tells it’s own unique story.  This is captured in the growing rings of the tree.

Lignum Lucentum is a wall light made from one single Dutch pine. This tree was still growing on the Kronenmijnen in Apeldoorn till this December. The sandblast technique is used to highlight the structure within the wood. Combining this technique with light gives an intriguing sight.
